It seems that K&N HP-1008 should fit. Z1 Motorsports says that OEM filter 15208 65F0E fits the 2023 Z and it also fits the 370Z. I always used the K&N HP-1008 on my 2014 370Z, so it seems it should be good for the new Z. Anything wrong with my logic?

thats the oil filter and you are right that fits for sure. Im was referring to the drop in air filter panels that give you a little more air flow. Ive used them for years on the GTR without issue. I contacted K&N and was told there isnt one in development for the new Z. I guess I will use stock until I get the NISMO CAI

as for oil filer I will probably do OEM or Mobil 1 if I switch to their 0W-20. NISMO makes a oil filter but they are like $45 so not optimal for frequent changes

Sorry, I should have realized that "Drop In" referred to air filters.

I used Mobil 1 exclusively in my 370Z and will do the same with the Z. Never tried their oil filters but will chack them out.

mobil 1 0w-40 is the OEM oil for the GTR so I always used the Mobil 1 extended life filter with it because I put so few miles on the car that I only change the oil once a year so thats how I got introduced to that filter. OEM is good and cheap. this is what I use on the GTR I think it fits the Z?

My mistake, they took the air filters out all together and lost power

ahh oh yeah that will do it as the throttle body is set up for a certain amount of flow and hi flow filters are still within that tolerance. when you take them out its just an overload.

I remember people used to do that at the drag strip where they would pull their filters before the run.
