According to the Nissan release spec sheet the exhaust options are as follows:
Note: Left is Sport trim | Right is Performance trim
First picture we have the performance trim exhaust. How can I tell? The rear spoiler, which only comes on the performance trim. As you can see it has the much smaller axle back exhaust. Sounds pretty good for factory. If any of you haven't seen the video of the Z ripping through the canyons it has this exhaust. This exhaust is also, I'd guesstimate, probably 10-15lbs lighter than the base level you'll see below.
Watch and listen to the Z driving in the canyons here and here.
Now below we have the Sport(base) trim exhaust. No rear spoiler indicates base trim. And as you can see the actual muffler is much bigger, taking up 3x-4x the size of the above Performance trim. Something else to note is this exhaust looks nearly identical to the 370Z factory exhaust. The axle back alone on the 370Z weighed about 26.8lbs, so I'd assume this is likely about the same. This is much more restrictive and will be significantly quieter than performance trim exhaust.
