UPDATE 1/31/21 with statement from Nissan Communications Manager, @Dan_Passe [link to post]:

We apologize but this was an error on behalf of the spokesperson. The base price of the 2023 will be around $40,000, as previously reported.

Again, we are very sorry.

Product specialist from Nissan said 30k base twice in this video from the Houston auto show:

She mentions 30k base price twice.
First time at the 3:05 mark
Second time at 4:58 mark



Not sure if she's for real

I'll shit in my hands and play patty cake if the base is $30k. I really, really cannot see how that would be possible though.

It's starting to spread like wildfire. If it's not true Nissan needs to come out with a correction ASAP!
Maybe that's the big brain play at work right now ?

We already know but this is not going for 30k. It’s going to be 36-39k for the sport. 44-48k for performance. Just speculating
