According to Wikipedia "the speed limit on most of the island is 35 mph". Guam seems like an odd place to be selling early Zs.
Although its been 20+ years since I was there last, I don't remember any roads in Guam where you have room to really open up.

Two possible reasons:
  • It's probably the first stop for shipping from Japan.
  • It's US military base - they could buy one (maybe even at cheaper military pricing) to ship back to then US.

^ US military staff, veterans, etc. can get a discount direct from Nissan USA dealers, but it is only US$500 - US$1000 (NissanUSA.com). The Military.com also has a list of lots of discounts US military can get, including from Toyota and BMW.

It's not just the US either. With appropriate ID, staff at the military, government departments, education, charities, senior citizens, etc. plus retail staff can all get discounts on all sorts of merchandise and services that the regular public don't get. :( What discounts are available of course depends on where you live, all though some are "worldwide" (for example, Apple gives about a 10% discount to all education staff and students in any country, with a limit how much they can personally buy each year).
