The spec says this car will be 15% faster than the current Z at 5.1 down to 4.3…
Well the 2017 Q60S Red Sport 400 Coupe from Car and Driver timed 0 to 60 in 4.5 seconds with a 7 speed automatic with AWD and RWD. Since the new Z is about 200 lbs lighter it should be sub 4 in my opinion with a launch control automatic. The Nismo will be dope around 3.4???
Yes I'm pretty sure they are being conservative when the 0-60 times. With the better transmission and lower weight I expect it to be below 4.0, probably same as Supra. The Nismo is the one I will get and that one should be insane. Can't wait.
I don't think it'll be below 4 seconds, but should definitely be 4-4.3sec range. Also the automatic has launch control so that'll help. Doubt the Nismo will be under 3.5sec.

The Q60 doing it in 4.5 being heavy and using the old 7 then the new Z should be below 4.0. Plus the VR is underrated on hp. It will keep up with the Supra. Excited for what the Nismo will bring.

A more recent Q60 test had it going to 60 in 4.4 secs, and that test car weighed 4,047 pounds. The new Z will be 500 pounds lighter than that.

I think the typical, repeatable 0-60 will be 4.0 for both transmissions. There'll be a few who can pedal it to 3.8 like the Supra

I'm expecting the Z and Supra will be even and it will come down to which driver is fatter, lol.

Do we know if the driver assistance (esp lane keeping) will need to be disengaged every time you get in the car? In my current car once I've turned off lane keeping it doesn't come back on until I tell it, which I prefer. Don't know how Nissans usually handle this.

In my wife's '21 Rogue, you have to enable lane keeping everytime you start the car. You also have to enable lane keeping to activate cruise control.

I agree. It will be quick, but I think traction will be the issue much like most of the Challenger trims with the stock wheels and tires.

The bottom right button in this pic looks like the lane assist button to toggle it on and off/ The button in the Rogue looks the same.

Hoping the clutch is more Honda like...not a fan of the clutch in the 370 that I owned.

Overall I think Nissan nailed it. Love the clean retro look.?

Only thing that's missing/needed now is Flat bottom steering wheel. Difficult to go back to normal round now. Altima, Maxima & Sentra all have Flat bottom...COME ON NISSAN! Not a deal-breaker but, eh.

Nissan Nismo posted this a few hours ago. Can't recall if it's new or not. Says TBT so I'm guessing not? I would have died for a quick teaser of a Nismo model around 1:24 ? ?
