With all this (brochure) getting out I'm still wondering why no official road tests are planned or been done. Seriously think the Z is still not that far along in development for deliveries soon, at least not earlier than Spring.
I am starting to wonder if it's worth pinging @Dan_Passe in the Q&A thread to see if he can provide any insight, because yeah, now that you say it I'm noticing the brochures say "coming 2022" and don't mention a season...

Just got a call from my Sales Manager that's holding my deposit that they received the Z catalogs / brochures

@MZGA has just posted the catalog below.
Is this available in Canada too?

I'm in Australia, I placed my order on 20/11/21
Everest white.

There was quite abit of confusion on what brake calipers the premium will have

I guess that’s the answer, 4 pot Brembo’s

I wish they stuck with the original 6 pot plan

Leave it to Nissan to cheap out at the first opportunity. Oh well...Maybe the NISMO Edition?

Aren't the GTR brakes that were on the proto z like 20 grand? I'm okay with it not being 60k lol

You guys need to refer to the Nissan Spec Sheet and not internet speculation.
The Nissan spec sheet must be using the terminology "fixed" and "floating" to mean the opposite of what everyone else understands it to mean... Otherwise you're telling me the big 4-piston brakes are using a sliding caliper like the type used on your mom's Buick? And the base model gets the "good" fixed calipers with opposed pistons? See diagram below for proper usage.

For that matter, you can't have a "fixed" caliper with only one piston (as described for the rear on Sport), so I think whoever made that spec sheet doesn't know what they're doing.

Perhaps floating disc rotors not calipers?

I really couldn’t give a rats…I’m not taking it to the track
So as long as it has breaks that work and they look nice, I’m ok with it …my guess is that 99% of these will never see the track

Completely agree with you, whatever design it is, it's more than enough for any street or autox use. On my part, already planning to upgrade to Stoptechs or Brembos BBK when I get the Z, extra insurance on track.

Eh braking performance is more important than go fast performance. But to each their own.
