Did you have the ams intakes when you got tuned and made 450 or was that with stock intakes? Also you running them without the clear top cover? If so does it make them loud like the boosted 6 intakes?

Ive owned a lot of manual cars and I have to say the z isnt that great for shifting hard. 1st-2nd you cant bang super hard or it doesnt really want to go in. Ive been drag racing manual cars for 17 years and have thousands of passes under my belt so its not a "you dont know how to drive manual"...
This is exactly why I want to upgrade turbos. I would rather put the turbos back into their efficiency range and not create extra heat trying to push small snails too hard. I think the motor would last a lot longer at 500whp with bigger turbos that are happy than with 450whp with smaller turbos...
Exactly. I wish someone did a dyno comparison of lower vs full downpipes. If it was 5-10 hp I dont care at all. I would take that hit and do lowers only to keep the sound in check. But if its 30hp now ive got to think about it.

The greedy kit definitely looks clean. The air to air would be much more efficient on keeping things cool on back to back pulls or track days. That’s what I’m thinking is if i track this car (which I most likely will) I’m going to lose a lot of power to heat soak.
