I cant fault you there. Specifically with the pricing differences in AUS. Here in the states, a fully optioned Z start encroaching on C8 territory.
I can agree that the z feels like a gift in a way from Nissan. Really any 2 seat sports car running on petrol these days is a gift.
I looked...
That was also one of my favorite things about owning one. I loved the conversations it started. From middle aged guys approaching me to tell me about their early Z Cars, to curious teens and 20 somethingās. That was one of the most enjoyable aspects of owning the Z. LOVE that blue Restomod...
A little of both. The local BMW dealer is a friend of mine and had a buyer lined up for the Z quickly. They facilitated the sell for a small ākickbackā. I was happy to do that for simplicity.
The best thing I did when searching was pay attention to the ride over to the dealership and...
Hopefully the Z hangs around for a few years and I can give it another go in a manual. I havent heard from many people with the manual that donāt really enjoy the car. āThe performance better ugly choiceā š No doubt the Z is the better looking car :)
exactly right! Thatās the reason there are so many options! I admit a restomod Z is on my short list after our detached is completed. I absolutely love those!! Also seems as though everyone pretty much loves the Nismoā¦I havenāt driven one personally but have heard nothing but praise.
Iāve...
Thatās good news on the 2024. Havenāt heard of the issue on the Nismo either. Perhaps it is just early models.
There is a way to turn that off / but it is not straightforward or available through the settings or even unlocking the service menu.

No doubt the Z is a more comfortable car to sit in and look out of than the claustrophobic Supra..the back window, high door trim, and curved/slopped side roof line make it feel so tight compared to the Z. Dukes of Hazard or not! š
Unfortunately I did not have much luck with Nissan on my...
Auto. Thatās where the issues with the transmission came into play. I would have loved a manual, but it just wasnāt a practical choice for my daily
Thank you! Glad to hear you havenāt had the same experience. Perhaps I would have felt differently if I opted for the manualā¦(love your color combo btw)
I am a manual fan as well - but there is a part of my daily commute that is heavy stop and go through THREE school zones EVERY morning..so a manual is just not practical for me
I can understand that. I donāt think there is much middle ground on the looks for the 240. Lot of people hate it / lot of people love it. I wasnāt crazy about it in pics, but did feel like it looked better in person.
Sucks that you can only get the X package / itās a rocket as well and...
I hear you on the manual. The new M2 comes in a manual (I actually drove the manual version) and I must say it was a blast to drive. There were two things that held me back. I actually preferred the overall styling of the 240 in person, and the M2, even in its most comfortable settings - I...
I made the decision it was time to move on from the Z after nearly a year and under 5K miles. I loved the style, the nostalgia, the raw power. I loved forums like this one where fellow enthusiasts could share their passion.
I felt like a teenager the day I got my Z. That initial feeling...
