Since they had some pretty interesting colors like permisson and wine for current gen, I'm sure they'll introduce some more unique colors for the Z35. Hope there is a orange/brownish shade tho!
"The twin-turbo V6 engine is all-new and will be launched in a production car within two years. They aren't saying which one, but Infiniti's head of product strategy, Francois Bancon, says it's a 'high-performance' engine, to be used only in Infinitis because it's too expensive for Nissans."...
It just needs a Z in the name. The numbers after it (or if it stands alone) doesn't matter as it will be associated with this car's long history.
Funny here we are talking about badging and names and there really hasn't been any indication they are for sure coming out with a new one.
Exactly. The Z is an actual sports car and not a pony car like the American muscle cars. Even the current Z is significantly smaller than those cars and feels completely different when driving.

I'm not totally against a hybrid powertrain but they need to come up with a way to make it affordable. The Z already has price issues compared to its competitors, let's not make the gap even worse.
Just because the GT-R is heavy as hell doesn't mean that the Z will be. Actualy if they make the Z small and light it'll be a perfect opposite bookend to the GT-R. A heavy HP crazy GT-R halo sports car at the top of the range and a small nimble back-to-basics sports car at the intro level of...
Sad to see the IDX go but the Z is the more important car by far. And if they can mix elements of the IDX and Z together that's the best of both worlds and gives the Z the best chance at success.

The domestic brands have stepped up their game in the areas they were most criticized.... more refined, better interiors, less retro overall.
Nissan Z is gonna have to stand out in some way. It will have a tough time competing on power-to-price but I'm thinking a modern DCT and higher quality...
For the Z market, if they want to compete with cars in that segment they are going to need at least a V6.
I won't begrudge them if they slap a 4 banger into the entry model though. Maybe it can be shared with the rumored IDx.
