Fair criticisms — and to each their own! Balance was my main concern. With 93 octane, the 2.5T is deceptively quick —250hp and 320tq. Stock for stock it outperforms most things in its price range, and I’ve seen the tuned 3 hit 60 in 4.9 seconds.
I recognize I’m defending my own purchase (lol)...
Which four? Haha
I’m just so happy that my Mazda has enough of literally everything to put most things to shame. Aesthetics, design, technology, performance, practicality, comfort, safety, reliability, value.
I’ve been a Nissan fan since I was a kid — because they represented affordable...
I completely agree. I bought mine because it’s the most balanced vehicle in terms of priorities I’ve ever driven. Anything that’s better than it is either way more expensive, or has to make sacrifices in one department or another. ?
I mean, I don’t think it was ever a surprise. It’s surprising how much speed you pick up, but not how it delivers the power. I purposefully kicked the backend out with gas and steering alone. 85%-Full throttle will chirp the tires / spin them. I imagine an amazing set of tires would make a...
I’m with you. I honestly think I’ll probably own one of these, this generation. I imagine a few of these gripes will be addressed in the 2024MY and beyond. It’s just too cool of a car. I did not expect to love looking at it or driving it as much as I did.
For sure! I think because most reviewers are comparing to the Supra, they make the Z sound like it’s soft, or imprecise. It’s an absolute riot — and especially right now, felt very special to drive. I’m so glad it exists, and hope it gets the credit it deserves. I would go out and buy one if I...
I wish this was true! I wasn’t actually complaining about the cloth seats, more about all the buttons and switches that are carried over on both trims. I think they both have the same reverse camera, the same window and mirror buttons, the same infotainment (just different sized screens) and the...
I was mainly driving highway in the sun, with a decent amount of rain and mist throughout the middle of the trip. Being too spirited with the accelerator can cause some wheel spin and a loss of traction/power, as this car has a bit more power than its tires and open diff can handle if you’re...
Had a chance to drive the one and only 2023 Nissan Z on Big Island (HI) via Turo.
Some things were far better than I expected, some far worse. Here are my personal, subjective thoughts:
Pros:
+ Incredibly quick. Faster than I thought it would be.
+ Excellent steering, handling, driving...

Seiran Blue, all the way. I would do Gun Metallic if it was 2-tone — but, alas, doesn’t look like that’s in the cards. I wish I could do black interior with blue accents — rather than fully blue seats (like the red option) as well. But I’ll probably do entirely black interior with blue ext.
Hmm, will have to try that — I think they should give you the ability to move frame by frame during the replay. Perhaps I’ll submit a feature request — cause all the other effects show up (sparks, smoke, rain, water, etc.)
Hi all,
I’m a new user, though I’ve been following this forum for a while now. I was so impressed with Gran Turismo 7’s photo mode — and the realism captured for the new Nissan Z, that in lieu of any other US-based Z news or official
— I could help any of you out who want to see the new Z in...
