I’m in agreement with the folks saying that 50k for the one most will want is placing it in really stiff competition, new or used cars either way. Wonder how much I could save if I were to buy the base and go aftermarket brakes, diff, etc
I’m ignorant of this but if it’s a computer thing not letting you do a burnout. Maybe in time a tuner could disable that function or rather unfunction. I’ve never had a car that wouldn’t let me do one so I’m not sure how that works.
Love the editing they did in this video. Def needs more traction. It’s shame we can’t get a performance model without all the little luxury/ convenience options. Dig into that weight disadvantage a tiny bit. I want the brakes and diff but could not care less about the rest the perf pack ads...
The waiting game has definitely hurt my excitement about the car. I was told by my dealer that they would have cars on site in mid Jan. so they could be trained on selling them. learning features and differences in trim and such. I gave our guy my number ( my family has bought several cars...
I should be able to handle something 50k-ish or less pretty easily. things I'm thinking are
nissan Z
c7 vette
r32 skyline
evo 10
each one would be for different reasons. I'd enjoy any of them though. I work for Nissan and considering leasing the Z through the company then buying it when the...
I would agree that that the reporting article probably did foul up and the 61k is for the top trim, the proto. That would make a lot more sense seeing as how it’s a limited production.
so in a recent article i just read from car scoops and again by grand tour nation, the Z in japan will start 61k. what does that mean for the rest of us. thats a far cry from around 40k that was touted during the reveal. thoughts on this one anyone. im at work now but when i get home ill try...
I love mine. Had it for about 7-8 years now. These cars are great cars BUT as we all know it’s definitely not a car for someone who isn’t mechanically inclined or doesn’t have a lot of disposable money. I’m lucky enough to have been taught a lot on em and save loads on labor by doing stuff...
just turned 30 and itll be first Z. growing up though i always liked the z more than the skylines as far as nissan. the z was something i thought i could actually own one day. the skyline (outside of tv/video games) exited in a different dimension or something. just never saw it as an obtainable...
im curious how some kansei tandems would look on it. they are based on the r34 gtr wheels. so long as i went wide enough to get some concavity on the spokes.
I've actually been here a couple months now and never really stopped here. So here goes. HELLO ALL. Like most of you here, I'm a vehicular enthusiast. Joined up to talk with other people that also waste all their hard earned money and eat ramen noodles for a living. Jokes aside, glad to be here...
Me too. In the end, I just cant bring myself to do it. the car just holds too much sentimental value to me. I just ordered more parts for it in fact lol
