Go back and look at the history of WRX redesigns. They have rarely been attractive vehicles and have regularly been criticized for their appearance. Having said that the plastic on this car is extreme, but looks much better in the dark gray or black paint. I bet it will sell in solid numbers...
Yes we don't know how much of the Yaris goodies make it to the Corolla. We will soon find out.
Toyota has a long-time reputation for over-building their vehicles however and I suspect the new GR will be reliable.
Looks so much better than the 10th gen. I like the sleeper look.
Type R is a fantastic vehicle, but too boy racer for my tastes. Hopefully that is toned down as well.
I saw a window sticker on another forum re the 2022 Civic SI. A California dealer had it listed for 44k....?
I called a few NH dealers re the BRZ yesterday and the markups ranged from 2-2.5 k.
I love it. You can load up the M240 with nice options and arrive at a price less than a 3.0 Supra. The B58 engine is both incredibly powerful and fuel efficient.
Peak torque arrives at lower rpms, the manual shift action and suspension are reportedly improved. It should be a better driver than the the previous generation.
Looks are subjective, but I prefer the more adult, sleeper look. I missed the part about no adaptive suspension...not good....but...
Here's to hoping that Toyota adds the rumored manual option to the Supra in the next year or so. That combined with supply chains getting back to some semblance of normality could give us some nice options and a competitive marketplace.
