    A week with the Z

Very interesting review from someone who has had a week with it, brings up a lot of pertinent considerations for ownership.

TFL's take on the new Z on track

Well there obviously has to be a reasonable balance between grip and power, putting Prius tires that may sort of work on a 200 hp car on to the new Z would be ridiculous. With the new twins it would be possible to use a UHP all season year round and still have reasonable traction given the...

2023 Nissan Z Reviews Are In (Compiled List Inside)

After watching/reading all of these reviews I'm left with the sense that the Z will be a great everyday driver and GT car but those looking for razor-sharp responses from their sportscar should probably look elsewhere - the twins at the lower end, Boxster/Cayman above. Commentary on steering...

Well at least most of the weaknesses they found are readily addressed by an owner at little expense - use better gas and get better tires. Personally I don't really want a car with Corvette-level limits because I want it to be playful at reasonable speeds on the street. Both TheTopher and Ben...

That was worth it. He's owned the Supra, a Boxster, and several Mustangs, and prefers the Z as a daily to all of them. Wow. Between this and Topher's positive takes I am swinging back into the Z column and away from the (unobtainable right now) GR86.

Consumer Reports Review - RZ34 Discussion

For those inclined to discount CR when it comes to sports car reviews, don't overlook this - the 3 guys in the podcast drive a lot on track, one is an instructor. The TL:DW summary: car is great, but don't buy the auto, it is terribly matched to the car, and only belongs in the Titan it came from.

Nissan Z ICONS - Hagerty review - Nissan Z vs Supra ft. WRX, Miata, volester N and F-pace SVR

Sure it is, but it's a bit insulting to someone of Randy's caliber to have him participate but have no opportunity to get in a sentence about his experience driving the Z at the limit on track IMO.

Nissan Z ICONS - Hagerty review - Nissan Z vs Supra ft. WRX, Miata, volester N and F-pace SVR

Yes I was surprised that there was absolutely nothing about the car coming from Randy. In fact the whole thing was more of a "think piece" than a real review of the Z.

Nissan Z ICONS - Hagerty review - Nissan Z vs Supra ft. WRX, Miata, volester N and F-pace SVR

I'd agree that lap times are largely irrelevant for street driving. But I was not at all thrilled by what Jason had to say about the total lack of feeling through the steering wheel. I remember that was one of the things I enjoyed on my 370Z test drives, how the wheel felt. I have seen a few...

    Nissan Z vs Toyota Supra

A second Z review by the same guy, comparing it directly to a Supra back to back. (He had the Z for a full week and found it worked great as a daily.) He prefers the Z for its better handling predictability, grip on acceleration, and ride compliance.

I'd never seen this guy's reviews before, but it proved worth my time. I especially liked that he deliberately drove the car on a fairly broken-down windy road and talked extensively about its compliance and grip in those conditions. An ex-Supra owner, he was very impressed with the Z overall...

What's the use of having two reviewers if you don't have both drive the thing and provide feedback.... just an extra 200+ lbs slowing the car down lol.

    Canadian pricing announced

You did that when you made the reservation, as I did, and as Zark would have if he had been participating in that national system. My guess is he didn't and is talking about a more recent order he put in which he'll see in 2023 if he's lucky.
