Screen Protech. High Quality Z screen protector now available.

Did you by chance get the anti glare? I'm interested in seeing how that looks on the Z

    155 MPH (250 KPH)

135mph max on my sport. Nissan claims aerodynamic reasons for both limits, but I'd like to see "independent testing" to prove it. 😎

    Paint Protection/Tinted Windows

Ah, go ahead and live a little. Break-in aint so important with high tech machining these days.

    Paint Protection/Tinted Windows

Check my first post on this thread. :like: Clear on the front, which blocks heat without obscuring visibility.

    Paint Protection/Tinted Windows

All windows, I told them to do Texas legal limit, which I think is 25% on the sides, 5% rear.

    Paint Protection/Tinted Windows

I regret not getting PPF. Paint seems thin, and the front bumper plastic is soft. Good excuse to get a wrap eventually. Also went through the summer without tint. That back window really lets in a lot of heat. Got it put in this winter and it still feels luxurious. Even got clear ceramic on the...

Wanting to buy new Z Nismo, but nervous about VR30 reliability.

Well, I'll say I'm over 15k miles now on my 2024 Z, with no drivetrain issues. Stock tires were bald at 10k, and there's a recall out for a sensor harness. Other than a catback, I'm holding off on mods (sport trim). Maybe when suspension bits wear out I'll feel like putting in upgrades. Welcome...

Is it just me or is my 24 performance changing gears too early ?

you've been planning to buy a car for months and never even had a casual conversation with your wife about it?

No, cat-back means you're only changing the tubes after the catalytic converter. On the Z, both upper and lower down pipes have cats, but nothing afterwards. The only meaningful effect is a change in noise.

    Any regrets?

burned through stock rubber at 10k, so it won't be too long 😎

What did you do to your Z today? 🙋🏻‍♂️

That harsh line between the two doesnt bother you? Would drive me a bit crazy. Need that old school GM gradient fade.

Toyota Supra’s Sales Dominance Over Nissan Z Is… Over

Some of the crazy ones still are! Why anyone would agree to pay a markup I'll never understand...

Oh, yes that was my experience with the HKS pipes. AWE Touring has resonated midpipes and overall quite tame. This is still a Nissan product, afterall. The interior dash has some rattles even just cruising.

Toyota Supra’s Sales Dominance Over Nissan Z Is… Over

I've seen a handful in my area. We give each other a head nod.

I'm not sure what you mean by feel and... shaky? There's no deep bass vibrations if that's what's meant. The Z has an RPM idle spot where a resonance in the cabin happens, which I noticed more with stock pipes than AWE. On my car this rpm range is rare to hit, like, only in summer with A/C on...

1 - Yes, 3" pipes, everything else stock, which causes some minor scraping on huge highway bumps. Another user had his shop weld on some sacrificial pads. I had a local motor sport shop (nissan specialist) put on HKS pipes initially because they had it in stock from an unfortunate situation...

So it does rev a bit when it's cold outside. Took a year off the engine light just for you. 😅 Driving clip is from the cup holder so sound isn't amazing but you can still make some of it out.
