    G-force meter - Highest output

Finally did a competition day in the new Z and pretty happy with the outcome. I managed to hit an instantaneous 1.89G with a sustained G around 1.5 at a banked turn we call "the bowl" at Streets of Willow, running counter clockwise. Data was retrieved from my AIM Solo 2 DL data logger which...

Freeway Debris - Damage to Underbody 😦😭

Sorry to hear that, the part that's damaged appears to be the W-brace, which provides support and rigidity to the underside of the car. As others have mentioned replacing through insurance should be possible but you'll have to pay your deductible and they may count it against you.

You definitely sit lower with these, I'm 5'8 so it's enough of a drop to make looking over the dash a challenge.

Fitment was exactly as I would expect it to be on a 370z.

    Has anyone replaced the seats?

Pretty sure Nismo recaros from a 370Z will plug in. The wire harness on both cars should be the same offering connections for power to move the seat, heat, airbag sensor and seat belt. The Nismo recaros will only need connections for airbag sensor and seat belt the rest will be unused. Worst...

They're not custom spec, but they are JDM. These are Ohlins DFV tuned by Mines, I got the ones with the Hyperco springs. http://www.ppi-mines.com/370Z2.html

Ohlins are on the RZ34, spring rates are 11.6k front, 10.7k rear. The 370Z track car is currently on rebuilt/revalved Powertrix Ultra Lites running 16k front and 14k rear.

    G-force meter - Highest output

I saw 1.3 - 1.4 lateral G at Willow Springs Intl Raceway during ZCON 2023. Wish I had taken a photo or it would be really cool if Nissan provided a way for us to download that data.

It's no where near as loud as the tomei on a 350Z or a 370z, haven't recorded anything yet but one of these days I'll get it recorded

Thanks @chuckz, I appreciate the compliments! I don't have specific part numbers on most things but I can roughly break down what you need, there's a few more parts that need to be on this list but these are the major ones. Front Bumper Fascia Front Grill 2 x Winglets (Front Bumper Moulding) 2...

Current thoughts on MT vs AT

Yeah manual is the way to go for anyone who is going to be spending time on a road course, hope the Nismo owners don't overestimate its ruggedness.

I'm actually not a mechanic. I'm a software engineer by day, togue/canyon carver by night and time attack driver on the weekends. I learned a lot by researching forums like this, making friends with people who know more about cars then I do and getting their help whenever possible. Last time I...

Current thoughts on MT vs AT

If its anything like the Z34s 7AT in terms of reliability, track rats and canyon carvers are going to be in for a rude awakening. I owned a 2012 7AT 370Z, torque converter seized after a year and a half of street driving and canyon runs. Whole transmission was replaced under warranty. Replaced...

Unsure at this time, waiting for more options to become available for body kits. I'm still on the fence about the Nismo rear bumper but who knows it might grow on me more as time goes on.
