Ahh yeah its definitely going to be tough with that, you have no leverage. As others mentioned, get a long breaker bar or a good impact gun. I like to use a combo of both.
Are you making sure to hold the nut on the back while loosening them? If not they will just spin. If your car is new they should come off quite easily.
Depends on what you're used to and what you're comparing it to. If you're just putting around town itll be fine, if you're into more spirited driving you'll notice the floatiness quite quickly.
I drive mine year round as long as the roads are clear and not covered in salt. I went with the Michelin Pilot Sport All Seasons which have been great. Just be careful and let them warm up.
I have clips of the touring and track setups with ams race lower downpipes on my instagram jah_rz34.
As Sara mentioned, downpipes with the touring is a home run! Sounds awesome, perfect tone with no drone which is huge. Its loud when you want it to be. Now if you want to get spicy, get the...
Hoping I dont have it. I keep telling my local dealer to fuck off regarding the bumper torque adjustment recall or whatever that thing is lol. I already fixed it when installing my heat exchanger.
I do feel this slightly after getting my car tuned (full bolt ons). Feel like I lost a bit down low but it pulls quite hard the rest of the way which feels great.
True story I actually saw my 2nd Z ever in the wild last week while at an appointment. It was a white sport model believe it or not. I was joking to my friend about how rare that car was lol. I left a note on their windshield telling them to add me on Insta and to join here. Hopefully they do.
I agree, I've been very happy after getting tuned with basic bolt ons. Car pulls hard. I like what another user said on here "since when is 500hp anemic?" I find people chase all these crazy numbers because the internet trolls say their car is slow, but in reality, its so hard to use big power...
Downpipes are really what wakes these cars up. Also going to a larger 3" exhaust will be louder as well (few options out there). Once you have those the Z will scream. Mine is super loud lol.
Unless you plan on making crazy power, you can just go catted and be absolutely fine. You're already going full downpipes and that's enough for plenty of power. I would never want to deal with the noise and smell of catless. Also, if you're worried about restrictions, go for a 3" exhaust rather...
