For myself since will be tracking it w future mods don't mind good used low-mile well maint examples, but yeah right now can find new just under $50K Perf manuals, and a few used under $45K so, still looking.
Good to know! It looks like Bayside Blue is closer to the OG 240Z color , and could be that red also. I like these colors but will miss Seiran and Boulder. They should bring back BRG with tan interior.
Thing about tracking is, very common for square setups for rotatability, longer tread life. Track tires get used up very quickly so it's much more economical.
It was definitely alignment. Anytime you install suspension parts, alignment IS required. Toe is very sensitive at each corner, slight positive at rear stabilizes the car, make sure that's set. Better yet do a corner balance with you or your weight on the driver's seat and full tank of gas...
Bill @bpeckham, you're in San Diego, check out Cal Club's San Diego region, they used to or maybe still use that stadium down there. It's SCCA Solo II sanctioned, so, well run. Good luck.
I highly recommend auto-x first, have done both, competing regionally. The biggest benefit to auto-x is learning the LIMITS of your car SAFELY, at much reduced speeds and if losing control it will only hit cones, normally held in large parking lots. Believe me after years of auto-x, when track...
Still looking at these photos, they are awesome, keeping heritage and perfect fitment/stance! A little lowering is what’s left.
These would look great on blue and other colors, keep those center caps!
I've used Cobb in the past, no problems, when had my STi.

Where's the thread for new members? Should have one, since not many getting on board lately. I'm still holding out for better pricing of course.....and Boulder Gray 😅
Most are for sound only, not hp gains. They do make the Z sound way better, it's just not 1st priority IMO. The soft suspension Nissan cheaped out has to go first, terrible tuning.
Same here, weighing price/performance, it's still too much $$ for what the car is. When prices get lower I'm toying with the idea of a Performance manual and adding the Nismo suspension and aftermarket BBK then call it done. Still have not tally up cost of upgrading to all the Nismo suspension...
