If you look closely those are aftermarket headlights. Looks like they're from an aftermarket headlight company called AlphaRex, which are coming out soon. Would like to see it better from all angles in a video, but I kind of like them.
Here's some more pics:
Both Track and Touring sound very nice alone; with LDP they sound incredible. Love the transparency and meticulous detail about the product. Amazingly priced as well. If I do ever end up getting into a new Z, this catback will most definitely be at the top of the list.
The wing looks pretty good, not over the top or obnoxiously big, but I think if it would look better without the factory spoiler. Side skirts look really nice, give it an OEM+ look. The diffuser I like as well. The front diffuser/bumper addon looks weird though. Perhaps if it were body colored...
They did the bare minimum.
Long story short; it's basically a body kit with a small tune for $10k+ more.
You would be far better off getting a Performance or even base Sport trim and putting $10k worth of mods.
May or may not be biased since they're my favorite colors, but red and black definitely look the best. Not liking the Nismo badge on the front of the car though. Definitely need to get rid of that or paint it black to hide it. Asymmetrical elements like that hurt my eyes.
For what it is and what it'll be priced at, doesn't sound worth it. Heck I still don't think the Performance Z is worth the MSRP of $51k. I imagine the Nismo will be $60k if not more for fairly miniscule upgrades; Some of which SHOULD have already been included in the Performance model in my...
It may be minor now, but how will it hold up in a year, two years, three years, etc? It's sad to see so many issues with the car after customers have been waiting for so long. You would think with how far and advanced technologies are this day-in-age, these kinds of issues would not come up. We...
Not sure about the front. From certain angles it looks pretty good, but others it looks kinda soft.
Also not a fan of that color. Would love to see it in a Red, White, or Black.
Here it looks pretty damn good.
That and they should definitely offer the carbon fiber pieces as well. Still sad they didn't follow through with keeping the carbon fiber front lip and side skirts that they had on the Proto Z that was first revealed.
Good chance they're swapping between the two sizes for testing.
Definitely looks more aggresive than the current one. I wish Nissan would've been this creative with the front end on the regular Z model. I'm sure a lot of folks will be buying Nismo front bumpers and swapping it with the current Z front bumper like many did with the 370Z.
Looking forward to...
Exactly this. Some folks on here are in the honeymoon phase and being borderline delusional. Which is understandable; getting a brand new car is always exciting and I'm sure overall the new Z is a fun car.
HOWEVER, settling for less leads to Nissan not wanting to improve their products. As...
Holy sh*t, really? I did a search online anyway and I came out to just over $4k. Add dyno tuning time and shipping/install fees if bolt-ons are done by a shop and I figure $4500 max?
Cat back exhaust - $1440-$1990 depending on options
Intakes - $700
Lower downpipes - $430
Tune - $1500...
Considering that it's taken this long to even get the new Z into production, I highly doubt there's going to be any changes for the next 2-3 years. The only "change" we'll likely see is the new Z Nismo coming out probably Q3-4 of next year as a 2025MY.
