Yup! like you said just time consuming. Ended up breaking a bolt for the dust boot cover around the lever had to extract that and replace. After that it actually went back together much quicker than I anticipated. Thanks for the help!

I found that right after I asked you lol that was a fun project last night…

So you had to remove the entire center console to get this replaced. Was that pretty straight forward? Was there a specific order you removed pieces in? I was hoping all the brackets and boot would be removable through just taking off the top plastic like it was in the 350z

Damn that looks great. The short shifter didn’t look like too bad of an install. I was between the Z1 short shifter and torque solutions. Ended up going with the Z1 with it being on sale. Will update on how it feels once it’s installed

This exact effing thing just happened to me. Thought finally it’s loosening and bam it sheered off. Did it the same way as everyone else. Vise grips heat belt towel all the above. Did you finish the lever replacement? What part did you go with? Please let me know I’m furious rn
