  1. JR oil solenoid block off plate

I probably will switch to a 5w-30 oil on my next oil change
  2. JR oil solenoid block off plate

Thanks. I am still using 0w20. That may explain why my idle oil pressure is around 18-23 at idle when my car is fully warmed up.
  3. JR oil solenoid block off plate

Installed that today. For those who have this mod what oil pressure are you seeing at idle once the car is warm ?
  4. Lowering springs question

I finally had a change to install the RSR lowering springs. I thought I would start with the rear as it seemed very straight forward. I was wrong. I had a very difficult time lining up the bolt for the spring bucket. I ended up having to remove a few trail arm bolts to loosen up the...
  5. Aluminum Oil Pans (Z1 vs. CZP)

Perfect timing. I just did my first oil change at 1K miles. While I was at it I changed out the ABS oil pan with a Dorman oil pan and also replaced the oil solenoid with a JR oil solenoid block off plate. Pretty easy to remove and install. It also comes with a dummy plug for the stock...
  6. Nissan Z tonneau cover

    Fancy!
  7. Nissan Z tonneau cover

Neither. Some type of texture vinyl. I don’t believe they come in neither leather nor alcanterra.
  8. Nissan Z tonneau cover

Just scored an used 370z tonneau cover locally for $100. Yes, the 370z tonneau cover fits the Nissan Z perfectly. The parts numbers are different but they fit the same.
  9. Lowering springs question

I am on the fence of getting some lowering springs for my 26 Performance. I only want to lower the most 0.5" on the front, and 0.75" in the rear. Mostly for cosmetic reason. I already have a set of Eibach sways front and rear. I am fully satisfied with how my current suspension is set up...
  10. Wheel spacers issues

Mine is a 2026 Performance and the wheels didn’t clear with the 15mm. Since I have already made indentations in the back side of the wheels I just may grind out those indentations a little more and try the 15mm again.
  11. Wheel spacers issues

Finally got a chance to snap some photos of the wheels with 20mm bolt on spacers on all 4 corners
  12. Wheel spacers issues

You are 100% correct. The back of my wheels only suffered about 3/8” of compression from the studs. Not bad at all. Hopefully others will see this thread and won’t make the same mistakes as I did.
  13. Wheel spacers issues

I think we are talking about two different types of wheel spacers. The slip-in spaces which I agreed will need longer studs. I am referring to the hub centric wheel spacers. These are the ones that bolts on to the existing stock studs and the wheels bolt on to the studs that are in-cooperated...
  14. Wheel spacers issues

I agreed with you the 15mm looks best on the front. But with my hub centric spacers it just simply won’t work. I am too lazy to replace the stock studs with the longer ones.
  15. Wheel spacers issues

I had the hub centric spacers. The stock studs that the hub centric spacers attached to are too long if you use 15mm spacers. The stock wheels will not sit flush on the spacers. When you tighten the lug nuts you will press the wheels into the stock studs in order to reach the proper toque...
