In today’s episode of what am I driving instead of my Z b/c the dealer is either incompetent or just not very detailed…
I will never darken this dealer’s door again unless it’s for warranty work. Having the gear shift knob removed turned into such a debacle for a simple ask.
I have had B pillars melted on a couple cars due to sunlight reflecting off low e windows in the front of our house. I also replaced the mirror cap on my wife!s Wrangler this year due to the same thing. Maybe this is the same issue for you.
It actually burns the grass as the sun moves across...
My PPF installer recommended the Cicio in Alpharetta. The only Nissan they list is the GT-R. If they’re doing anything with Z’s, it isn’t obvious. I’ll be curious to see what they tell you.
First of all, read all the posts including analog something or other and WOW. My dealer only loads my Z on the alignment rack because the regular lifts don’t go low enough…according to them.
Finally done. Note to self, don’t install car parts during data center migrations 🙃
Thanks to @KrackaC8 for sharing this setup!
Who knew the hardest part was putting the rubber trim on. One of them had a collapsed channel (?) that goes over the lip of the canister. Once I opened it up with a...
I’ve got 3 screwdrivers wedged in this POS ring holding my pax airbox on WTF is wrong that it won’t come off? Driver side came of super easy. I feel like I’m about to yank the turbo out!
Thanks for humoring my rant.
Alright, finally got it. I think my problem was the center tab wasn’t far...
I saw an Orange Heritage Z in a local parking garage yesterday and a gray one on the road. lol, I’ve gone from seeing zero where I live to 5 individual cars in the last 3 weeks. :ROFLMAO:
If I’m going to seriously get back into golf as a hobby, I might want to find a bag more suitable to the Z. But it does fit and I can close the hatch. Even if I got a smaller bag, I don’t know how you’re supposed to get 2 bags in there.
I'm similar, not a fan of putting logos on my car. The only "sticker" on my car is the clear film protecting the paint and what came from the factory.
If I were going to put those logos on my car, I think the position in front of the rear wheel looks better to me. Either place it goes, it at...
Received the K&N CAI that I learned about from @KrackaC8. Hopefully get it installed over the weekend. Now that noise cancelling and sound enhancement are turned off, I should hear some turbo noises. One of these days I’ll get around to picking an exhaust.
I took the car back out for lunch. 1st, 2nd, 6th and reverse gear all work as normal. It's only 5th where the gear shifter is allowed to travel further than where it can engage the gear. Looking at your image, I'm not sure how it's possible for only that gear to be out of alignment. You'd...
Image and insight is super helpful, thanks!
They removed it from the car when they wrenched down on it and broke it. I’m sure they worked on it some in the car before then and agree it could be bent. Either way, I’ll calling them back about it.
Got my car back with the new gear shifter after the dealership broke the one that came in the car I’m suspicious something is different, though.
When I go to 5th gear, it goes further to the right than it seems like it did before replacement.
I feel like before, when shifting towards 5th, you...
I really want one of these watches but I’ve already way overspent on time pieces this year. Plus I’ve already dropped a lot of money on my Harley. I really need to spend some money on the Z now.
But I am really envious of you guys getting this watch. Post up your photos of them on your wrist...
