I got a set of these after watching @Schantin video. They seem to be a good quality product and the updated brackets I think will prevent the bending issues with the first version; the new design is much better reinforced. I also removed the silly stickers, which leave some goo but easy clean...
Possibly an OEM solution on the horizon? Supposedly Nissan addressed this issue in the 2027 model and could be retrofitted to older models probably. Not sure if it would be any cheaper or easier than current aftermarket solutions though.
guy on yt just posted today on this kit, he moved a lot of stuff out of the way to reach the bolts! A long skinny rachet extension with universal not get to it?
Would it be feasible or a bad idea to install these fake connectors hidden under the plastic shroud, and leave the actual poppers bolted in place, just unplugged? Asking for a friend with concerns about a warranty impact...! I understand they are still explosive devices but they are designed...
I just order the Zspec billet radiator cap set for a little underhood splash. Is this picture correct how they have the name labels placed? I thought the right bottom would be the radiator filler cap?
The cap labels in this picture are:
Top: Radiator Filler Cap
Left/Middle: Intercooling...
The front looks so much better and finally eliminates the part that bugged my eyes the most, both figurately and literally. These areas catch a ton of bugs!
We reused the factory gaskets for now, which appeared to be barely crushed except around the bolt holes. Not hearing any obvious hisses or leaks but haven't driven it very much yet.
The sound is definitely much louder and throaty than the huge 6MT muffler. I only got the 9AT muffler and not...
I have a 2025 Performance MT and got the muffler off a Nismo 9AT that should fit. The crush gasket I got from the Nissan parts store (20692-8H30A) doesn't quite line up with the holes, and I think I ordered the wrong one. But I'm having trouble navigating the Nissan parts store to confirm the...
thanks much! Believe it or not i read through every page of the manual when I brought the car home but then stowed it in that handy cubby behind the passenger seat and promptly forgot about it and didn’t remember seeing this section
The one on the left looks like a screw with a clip, and there's a two way arrow next to it as if it adjusts something, but it doesn't move. It doesn't seem to really do anything except go into a hole (the seven black metal screws hold this plastic plate in place). Then on the right is an open...
I understand the S-Mode button (where the seat heater buttons are on the Performance) is the rev matching, same as on the non-Nismo 6MT. But what is the D-Mode button on the new Nismo 6MT? On the 9AT it changes shift points and such which makes sense, but on the manual what does it do?
