If there's multiple engines offered, not placing a number in the name might also help the forum community here get along better.... Yea who am I kidding, there's probably always going to be annoying engine displacement snobs on forums who hate on the lower models.

If it makes it more expensive then I don't think they'd put the technology / materials into the car. Sports coupes are already a hard sell and not like the Z is flying off the shelves at current pricing as it is.

Yessss! My prayers have been answered. Every other manufacturer seemed to be focusing on weight reduction but I hadn't seen much from Nissan on this until now. The Z35 is probably still far enough out in development to benefit from anything that comes of this Lightweighting Program.

That works for me :) Intro of a concept later this year, then production version debut and a release sometime in 2017. I'll take it.

No Tokyo Auto Show this year though. Unless they decide to release something at Tokyo Auto Salon, but that's more aftermarket geared like SEMA. I'm hoping for something to come at NY or LA then.
